Government official and foreman going to the small train of narrow-gauge loc and tip lorries, which are being loaded with sand by dragline to be unloaded further down the track. Papuan workmen putting sand between sleepers and rails, unloading lorries with rail segments, carrying segments to their spot. Track cleared through jungle, where dragline removes wood- and ground remnants.
